Riverside Avondale Inaugural Community Yard Sales

RAP is proud to host its inaugural Community Yard Sales on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 8am-3pm. Residences and businesses within the boundaries of the Riverside Avondale historic district (SEE MAP) are eligible to participate.

This is the perfect time to purge your closets, empty your garages, and cleanse your home of clutter accumulated over the years. Businesses are welcome to hold their own sales, but can also be included in promotions if a special offer is provided to the yard sale attendees.

RAP will provide the primary marketing and promotions for the Community Yard Sales with tactics that include a digital map of all participating residential and business locations, flyers posted throughout the neighborhood starting in early to mid-August, email and text message promotions, and social media.

Registrants are solely responsible for organizing their own yard sales at the address included with the registration during the full seven hours (8am-3pm) on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026.

If you have items you want to let go of, but don't have the time or energy to organize a full yard sale, please consider donating items to RAP for its own yard sale of which proceeds with directly benefit our operations.
