40th annual Luminaria

Now in its 40th year, Luminaria is one of the premier holiday events in Jacksonville. Since 1984, friends and neighbors have come together to illuminate the historic district by candlelight to commemorate the holiday season. This beloved event, which saw more than 24,000 kits distributed last year, is returning this December 8, 2024 at dusk. Purchasing your Luminaria kit through Riverside Avondale Preservation allows us to provide free supplies to parks, churches greenways and medians, merchant areas, and other public spaces with the aid of hundreds of volunteers.
