Celebrate Preservation Month with RAP and CovingtonAlsina

Powered by CovingtonAlsina and their $500 starter donation, we are proud to launch the Preservation Matters giving campaign, paying homage to Riverside Avondale's rich history and the efforts behind safeguarding the pieces from the past that tell our neighborhood's stories. This May, RAP celebrates the historic endurance of structures and places, right here in our neighborhood, as well as the preservationists working to ensure these structures stand to tell their stories for years to come.

Beyond saving old buildings, RAP preserves our community's heart, creating vibrant, specials places that are full of character, charm, and uniqueness. These efforts have led to neighborhood favorites like the Riverside Arts Market, Home Tour, Luminaria, and Garden Tour, as well as ancillary events such as this summer's Porchlight Series and the upcoming inaugural Riverside Avondale Community Yard Sales in September.

RAP has been conserving Riverside Avondale for 52 years strong. Help us continue our work, day after day, to protect our neighborhood's life and vibrancy so we can foster our same love and fondness for Riverside Avondale in future generations to come.
